My career spans over 35 years across B2C and B2B markets, where I’ve worked with start-ups, SMEs, and UK divisions of global multinationals. My industry expertise includes electronics, manufacturing, telecoms, social alarms, e-commerce, and the public sector, including the NHS.
At Premier Farnell, I restructured the UK catalogue, creating £1 million in incremental sales, and pioneered the use of 0870 numbers, delivering over £100,000 in additional annual profit.
At CPC, I led a sales initiative with ITV, generating over £450,000 in incremental profit in the first year. When I joined at least one aspect of 1 in 4 orders let the customer down, such as being out of stock or missing a delivery window; when I left we were better than 1 in 10, and were heading towards 1 in 20.
For Siddall & Hilton Group Ltd, I launched a new e-commerce business that achieved a turnover exceeding £2 million.
