About me

With a career spanning over 25 years in senior international roles within the recruitment, sports/lifestyle and Marketing/PR agency sectors, I have led transformative marketing initiatives that drive business growth – and that focus on marketing strategies and tactics that are both practical and cost-effective to implement.

At Spring Professional [part of The Adecco Group], I successfully launched a new recruitment brand across 10 markets, establishing brand guidelines, marketing operations, client/candidate attraction and retention tactics and digital marketing actions. This comprehensive approach significantly enhanced brand awareness and drove new business and profitability as the brand became established and ‘took on’ the competition.

During my tenure at The Adecco Group, I led comprehensive marketing restructuring and transformation projects across various markets over seven years. By aligning marketing efforts with sales initiatives, I boosted client acquisition and retention in both B2B and B2C environments – which is the heart of the recruitment business. This included restructuring marketing teams and operations and developing actionable marketing plans, contributing to the turnaround of previously loss-making businesses into profitable operations.

As the Founder and Managing Director of  Citrus PR, a boutique public relations agency, I expanded the team from one to six members and developed an impressive client base, including multiple local and national SME’s, as well as larger global organisations such as Nespresso, San Pellegrino, Siemens and Bosch Home Appliances. The agency consistently attracted large clients by demonstrating exceptional creativity and delivery of work that supported business growth. My firm was a runner-up for 'PR Agency of the Year' after only its third year of operations.

I am enthusiastic about leveraging Generative AI to support marketing and communications tactics for SME’s - and am continually learning and experimenting with new technologies that can bring successful results to businesses prepared to adopt them.  My hands-on approach and commitment to delivering results ensure businesses achieve tangible growth from their marketing efforts.

  • Love Travel  As of 2025, I have  travelled to 51 countries, and have enjoyed a career of combining travel and work – having lived and worked in Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA and the UK. Morocco is my new country to visit this year!
  • Endurance Sports: I have completed multiple endurance runs and bike races in Asia and Europe and revel in the pain of grinding up mountains on carbon!
