About me

I’ve worked across a variety of industries throughout my career, creating well-defined marketing strategies, strong brands and great marketing teams that deliver growth.  

  • At  Speedy Services plc, I transitioned the company from print-only to multi-channel digital marketing, launching new websites, ecommerce channels and building substantial online and social media audiences. All metrics ahead of target performance with utilisation of target products increasing from 56% to over 80%. I also negotiated and developed a partnership with TradePoint (B&Q) making Speedy their preferred equipment hire partner, generating £1m+ of new revenues from their SME customer base in 18 months. 
  • At Trinity Mirror (now Reach plc), the then leading print and online newspaper publisher and media business in the UK, I was a key driver of a business-wide sales and marketing transformation project, creating fully integrated sales and marketing teams, streamlined business processes, improved customer service and a refocused digital business that delivered over £2.5m in benefits including 150% year-on-year growth in online sales. 
  • During my tenure at Core Assets Group, I led a successful rebrand that united disparate operating service brands and locations under a cohesive identity. By reviewing and rebuilding the website and developing an online content marketing strategy, we achieved an 18% year-on-year increase in enquiry rates. 
Fun facts
  • A passion for the arts: my first career choice at 16 years was to be a ballerina and I’ve maintained my love of the arts ever since, be it dance, theatre, art or music, but I’ve never worked in the sector. 
  • A serial trustee: I’ve been a Board Trustee of several charities, using my director experience and marketing expertise to help each deliver on its mission and grow.
