About me

With over two decades in marketing within the engineering and manufacturing sectors, I've honed my ability to convert complex technical offerings into clear, customer-centric value propositions. At Cummins Inc., I developed a new integrated marketing planning process with business engagement to ensure a clear line of sight from business strategy to marketing activities with measurable results across global regions. I championed ‘insight-driven innovation’ into the NPD process, gathering Voice of the Customer, translating insights into technical offerings and full value packages. I championed the introduction of Net Promoter as a key customer relationship management program across two Cummins business units and worked across global regions to drive improvements, leading to a swing from a score of NPS -27 to +30 within three years. 

At BSA Mouldings, I introduced customer profiling and developed a value proposition to underpin a new lead generation strategy for this plastic injection moulding company.  

At Victor Floorcare: I established a marketing budget and plan to support strategic growth, aiming for a ten-fold increase in lead generation over five years. I conducted a marketing organisation review, supported recruitment, and continued to mentor the Marketing Manager in leadership and delivery for this commercial floor cleaning manufacturer. 

At Innovate UK EDGE:  I provided mentoring and advisory support, specialising in marketing and intellectual property rights to high-growth, innovative SMEs across the East of England. I advised businesses on the validation of their business proposition and the development of go-to-market strategies. These efforts led to the businesses securing successful government grants ranging from £50-£250k to take these concepts to market.
