About me
With over 30 years of experience in both blue-chip companies and SMEs, I have a proven track record of launching and revitalising brands in the financial sector. I started in product management for Prudential where I created the market leading proposition Savings 2000 increasing market share to +25% and led the product and marketing for the launch of Prudential Bank.
A founder of Egg Banking, I also re-established its innovative positioning by launching the award-winning Egg Money campaign, achieving over 150,000 sales in the first year. Additionally, set up an award-winning customer experience programme using machine learning and was responsible for Egg’s first customer database.
As CMO at Selftrade, (part of Société Générale) a self-investor platform, I created the marketing strategy and campaign plan for the business, achieving a top 3 position in sales and becoming the most considered brand in the sector. I set up a customer experience and CRM programme, achieving 2nd place in sector satisfaction. Additionally, I launched a new online bank with a Cash ISA, achieving the annual sales plan in 3 months, with the deposit proposition exceeding targets. As CMO of Equiniti, I led the UK’s largest stock broking account migration collaborating with IT and operations to deliver it within 6 months. Oversaw creation of customer proposition, website and collateral.
Since joining The Marketing Centre in 2018, I have worked with technology led companies in logistics, hospitality, construction and financial services as well as the renewable energy sector. In that time developing business strategies, launching multiple websites and mentoring and developing marketing teams and advising business owners on strategy.
My hands-on approach and commitment to delivering results ensure businesses achieve tangible growth from their marketing efforts. For one client it has experienced +100% growth over the last two years, and another has re-focused and restructured its sales and marketing channels to achieve a higher return on investment. A client in IT Support Services achieved its best recruitment of new business clients that it had ever achieved in 20 years through a clear business approach.

- Scout Lead Volunteer: I was formally the County Lead Volunteer for Suffolk responsible for over 6,000 young people and 2,000 volunteers. I am now Leading a District within Suffolk of 17 Scout Groups
