My competitive edge

Unlocking growth by aligning marketing with commercial goals.
My ability to combine customer insight with strategic vision helps businesses deliver measurable results and outpace the competition.

About me

With a career spanning over three decades, I’ve led marketing, sales and general management for industry leaders such as AkzoNobel (Dulux), Diageo and Nestlé. My experience encompasses both B2C and B2B markets, driving growth in organisations ranging from £3 million to over £1 billion in turnover. [Insert specific achievements, e.g., "spearheaded a campaign that increased market share by 15%"].

At Dulux I developed a global strategy and operating model that generated a substantial pipeline, extending the service provision through innovative propositions. This focus on profitable customer segments led to increased market share and business growth.

As a Fractional CMO, I’ve guided numerous SMEs to achieve strategic focus, digital acceleration and deliver outstandingly effective communications. I have helped these companies generate up to 4-fold growth.

Fun facts
  • I once led a marketing campaign that was so successful that it unexpectedly made several people millionaires.
  • Before entering the commercial world, I originally trained as a spot-welder.
